Security Clearance Type: None/Not Required Security Clearance Status: Not Required The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team: RTX is seeking a business savvy software product manager to define, prioritize and oversee the development of software products, ensuring they meet market needs and business goals. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between the market, customers, and the development team, guiding the product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond. What You Will Do <ul><li>Product Strategy and Roadmap: Defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.</li><li>Prioritize development work: Maintain and be responsible for the clear product requirements, delivery with the Engineering team and metrics for success are built and maintained.</li><li>Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and gathering customer feedback to understand market needs and identify opportunities.</li><li>Product Definition and Prioritization: Translating market requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and prioritizing features based on business value and customer impact.</li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.</li><li>Product Lifecycle Management: Managing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to end-of-life, including planning, development, testing, launch, and ongoing maintenance.</li><li>Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Tracking product performance using key metrics and making data-driven decisions to optimize the product.</li><li>Travel Required: Up to 20%</li></ul> Qualifications You Must Have <ul><li>Typically requires a University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field. or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field and minimum 10 years experience</li><li>10+ years of experience related to product management and/or software development.</li></ul> Qualifications We Prefer <ul><li>Technical Proficiency: Understanding software development processes, technologies, and architectures.</li><li>Business Acumen: Understanding market trends, business models, and financial implications.</li><li>Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
