Job Description:

Position Overview

Flow Capture has a strong installed base across Autodesk's largest enterprise accounts. Now we are taking it into an entirely new segment: mid-tier production companies. We are hiring Flow Capture Principal Sales Specialists to break into these accounts, build demand, and close new Flow Capture business.

This is a full-cycle field sales role built for hunters. You will target a defined set of accounts that match our ideal customer profile, most of them net new to Flow Capture. You will partner closely with our Account Based Marketing team to build awareness and generate leads inside these accounts, then own the process from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close. Enterprise accounts stay with our core enterprise sales team. The mid-tier is yours from the first call.

This is a startup inside Autodesk, and it is not starting from zero. The product is proven with some of the most demanding productions in the world, and the executive backing is in place. What is new is the segment, the team, and the motion. You will be one of the first field reps on the team, helping write the first plays, test what works, and shape how Flow Capture scales into a new market.

You will work alongside a cross-functional growth team from Marketing, Product, Strategy, and Analytics, and learn from peers on the Fusion sales team, who have spent eight years scaling a similar business in manufacturing.

Autodesk's culture emphasizes curiosity, rapid innovation, and ownership. We believe in reimagining what is possible, taking smart risks, and pursuing results with urgency. Flow lives that mindset with startup speed, bold goals, and a mission to transform how content gets made.

If you are a hunter who thrives on opening new doors, landing new logos, and building something from the ground up, this is the role.

Responsibilities

  • Break into target mid-tier production companies, post houses, and studios that fit our ideal customer profile and ignite new Flow Capture conversations
  • Partner with Account Based Marketing to plan and execute account campaigns, events, and outreach that build awareness and generate pipeline in your target accounts
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, scoping, solution alignment, security review, negotiation, and close
  • Land first productions or teams inside new customers and expand them into broader, multi-project adoption
  • Build credibility and earn trust with producers, post supervisors, editors, DITs, and studio technology and security leaders
  • Lead value-driven conversations about secure camera-to-cloud dailies, real-time review, and faster collaboration across distributed teams
  • Conduct on-site meetings and visit productions, facilities, and industry events to build relationships and accelerate deals
  • Collaborate with technical specialists, partners, and product teams to deliver strong demos and validation
  • Maintain a high-velocity pipeline, accurate forecasting, and disciplined opportunity hygiene in Salesforce
  • Capture insights and document repeatable plays that help scale Flow Capture across the new segment

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of full-cycle B2B software sales experience, with a proven track record in new logo or territory hunting roles
  • Ability to open doors, qualify opportunity, and convert cold accounts into engaged pipeline
  • Experience partnering with marketing on account-based or targeted campaigns
  • Strong discovery and value selling skills with technical and creative audiences
  • Comfort running deals independently from end to end without relying on an existing account owner
  • Ability to identify the right entry points inside production companies and land initial wins that expand
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, competitive drive, and comfort operating without a fully defined playbook
  • Able to travel as needed to customers, productions, and industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling into Media and Entertainment, production, or post-production
  • Familiarity with dailies, review and approval, media management, or camera-to-cloud workflows
  • Network of relationships across production companies, studios, or post houses
  • Startup or early-stage team experience

The Ideal Candidate

  • New Flow Capture ACV from net-new customers in your target accounts
  • Pipeline creation and progression, including conversion of ABM-generated leads
  • Expansion from first production wins into broader account adoption
  • Forecast accuracy and execution discipline

Why Flow Capture, Why Now

Production teams are more distributed than ever, and the media they manage is more valuable than ever. Flow Capture already powers some of the biggest productions in the industry. The next wave of growth is bringing it to the mid-tier production companies that need the same security and speed.

As a Flow Capture Principal Sales Specialist, you will be on the front lines of that expansion, opening new doors, creating new customers, and building the playbook for a new segment.

If you thrive in hunting environments, love owning the full sales cycle, and want to build something new with enterprise backing, we would love to talk.

Common Interview Questions And Answers

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

4. WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR PHYSICAL WORKSPACE TO SUCCEED IN YOUR WORK?

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
