Who we are

We are Fluxon, a product development team founded by ex-Googlers and startup founders. We offer full-cycle software development from ideation and design to build and go-to-market. We partner with visionary companies, ranging from fast-growing startups to tech leaders like Google and Stripe, to turn bold ideas into products with the power to transform the world.

Many of our team members call the Bay Area home, but this role is fully remote across North America.

About the role

As a Senior Program Manager, you will manage complex, high-impact technical initiatives that drive innovation, scalability, and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of projects for Fluxon clients.

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for clients and partner closely with Engineering, Product, Project Management, Design, and senior leadership to define strategy, oversee execution, and ensure the successful delivery of large-scale technical programs. You will operate at the intersection of technology, business, and execution, translating ambiguous challenges into actionable plans and aligning cross-functional teams around shared objectives.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise, strong business judgment, exceptional communication skills, and proven leadership skills. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority, and driving measurable outcomes across multiple teams and organizations.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage complex, large-scale technical programs spanning multiple development teams, products, and organizations
  • Oversee the overall program portfolio, managing timelines, dependencies, risks, resources, and critical blockers to ensure successful outcomes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and executive stakeholders, managing expectations, communicating progress, and driving alignment
  • Partner with senior leaders to navigate challenges, evaluate technical trade-offs, and drive informed decisions
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business implications, facilitating strategic discussions and cross-functional collaboration
  • Drive accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality, predictable delivery

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management within software engineering or other highly technical environments
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs involving multiple product development teams and senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, system architecture, artificial intelligence, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern engineering practices
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, evaluate technical trade-offs, and navigate complex challenges in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decisions and drive measurable outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Mag 7, FAANG or high-growth / startup environment is preferred
  • Experience managing complex technical programs in a client-facing, consulting, or professional services environment

What we offer

Our salary range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000 USD per year, and we consider your skills and experience and what similar roles pay at companies similar to us when determining your offer.

  • Remote work with flexible hours and a budget to set up your work space
  • Localized healthcare coverage designed to support you and your family’s well-being
  • Flexible paid time off with a 3-week minimum (not including holidays) to support your well-being
  • Company-wide "no internal meetings" Fridays to help you focus on deep, uninterrupted work
  • Professional growth budget for any form of self-improvement: specialized technical training, conferences, certifications or even foreign language courses
  • Monthly health & wellness allowance to spend on whatever keeps you physically and mentally at your best
  • Annual offsites where we gather in person to build meaningful connections with your fellow Fluxonians
  • Profit-sharing program for you to benefit directly from our collective growth and success
  • 401k contribution program
  • Paid sabbatical program to reset, recharge, and gain a fresh perspective
  • A competitive salary that reflects your expertise and experience

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? 2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
