How you’ll make an impact:
The Senior Lead, People Technology & Reporting role supports the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday Benefits and Absence Management to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient execution of benefits administration and leave processes. Contributes to the successful delivery of annual Open Enrollment, ACA administration, and ongoing Benefits and Absence operations by maintaining system configuration, supporting reporting, and ensuring data integrity. Partners with People Operations, Payroll, and Total Rewards to resolve system issues, improve processes, and enhance the employee experience.

Technology capabilities through reliable production support, standardized configuration, quality assurance, and continuous process improvements that increase operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. This is an individual contributor role.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive People Technology roadmap, including prioritization of key initiatives that support business and organizational goals.
- Drive execution of the People Technology strategy and roadmap, independently leading complex, high-impact initiatives from requirements through deployment and ongoing optimization.
- Serve as an advanced solutions architect for People Technology, evaluating, recommending, implementing, and supporting tools, features, integrations, and processes that improve P+C operations.
- Analyze complex workflows and business requirements to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved user experiences through technical solutions and industry best practices.
- Provide advanced functional and technical expertise for core HCM administration and collaborate on the governance, quality, security, and integrity of people data.
- Serve as a subject matter expert across current and emerging People Technology platforms used at SiriusXM, including Workday.
- Stay current on People Technology trends and emerging capabilities and advise stakeholders on solutions that support organizational objectives.
- Apply advanced expertise in requirements definition, functional specifications, analysis and design, system configuration, testing, data conversion, deployment, and production support.
- Define and track key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of technology solutions, reporting capabilities, and business processes.
- Partner with Enterprise Solutions and other cross-functional stakeholders to support vendor relationships and software partnerships.
- Develop comprehensive system documentation and enable users through training, knowledge sharing, and ongoing support.
- Drive change management activities for People Technology initiatives to support successful adoption and sustainable business outcomes.
- Collaborate with P+C, Enterprise Solutions, and other cross-functional stakeholders to provide technical guidance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide functional leadership and mentorship to People Technology professionals, sharing advanced expertise and helping develop capabilities across the team.
- Ensure People Technology solutions and processes support applicable data privacy, security, and SOX compliance requirements.
What you'll need:
- Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 4 years experience; or equivalent experience.
- Extensive related experience in HR technology, HRIS, or People Technology, with advanced expertise in HCM system administration; Workday experience strongly preferred.
- Proven success independently leading complex, enterprise-wide People Technology initiatives and system implementations.
- Advanced HRIS knowledge across core HR processes, including applicant tracking, talent management, reporting, regulatory requirements, and compensation planning.
- Workday production support experience within a steady-state organization with a mature system environment.
- Previous Workday implementation experience, including configuration, testing, data conversion, deployment, and post-production support.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on user experience, data quality, and operational efficiency.
- Experience defining metrics, developing reporting solutions, and using data to assess process and technology effectiveness.
- Ability to influence and provide technical guidance to stakeholders across functions and levels without direct authority.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and provide functional leadership on complex technical work.
- Experience partnering on vendor relationships and software solutions.
- Knowledge of U.S. data privacy requirements and SOX compliance best practices.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and change management skills.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $113,600 - $150,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
