Responsibilities<ul><li>Play a key role in the monthly close process, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Assist with accounting activities associated with acquisitions and newly integrated businesses, including reporting, process alignment, and internal controls.</li><li>Work closely with operational leaders and cross-functional teams to address accounting questions and improve the flow of financial information across the organization.</li><li>Evaluate existing accounting processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen controls, and support continued growth.</li><li>Prepare schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation for quarterly and annual external audits.</li></ul> Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.</li><li>CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred.</li><li>3+ years of progressive accounting experience.</li><li>Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.</li><li>Motivated to grow within the organization and develop into a future leadership role.</li><li>Must currently reside in Georgia.
