Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Material Handler [Forklift Operator], Please review the responsibilities and needed qualifications below and apply today!<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Receive, select, and load materials. </li><li>Operate forklift safely and efficiently. </li><li>Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading. </li><li>Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers. </li><li>Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily. </li><li>Maintain clean working area. </li><li>Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance). </li><li>Perform daily safety checks on forklifts. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong>: High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience. Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions. Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions. Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw.<br><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>: Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance). Familiarity with building materials. Able to measure and calculate material lengths.<br><br><strong>Work Environment</strong>: High traffic warehouse and yard. Capacidad para comprender y seguir las instrucciones de seguridad/trabajo. Capacidad para realizar trabajo físico en cualquier condición climática.<br><br><strong>Preferible</strong>: Experiencia con montacargas (sentado/contrapesado). Familiaridad con materiales de construcción. Capacidad para medir y calcular la longitud de los materiales.<br><br><strong>Entorno de Trabajo</strong>: Almacén y patio con alto tráfico.
