Our team supports clients through strategic HR, recruiting, leadership development, and employee experience work.</p><p><br></p><p>This isn't a traditional internal HR Director role. You'll serve as a trusted HR leader to <strong>multiple clients across different industries</strong>, quickly learning their businesses, building relationships with their leaders, and helping them solve both strategic and day-to-day people challenges.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as a trusted HR advisor to business owners, executives, and leadership teams.</li><li>Provide fractional HR leadership to multiple small and mid-sized clients across a variety of industries.</li><li>Help clients solve costly people challenges including turnover, employee relations, performance issues, engagement, compensation, organizational structure, and staffing.</li><li>Coach leaders through complex employee relations matters, including performance and behavior issues, leaves, staffing reductions, and other sensitive situations.</li><li>Develop practical HR strategies, processes, policies, and programs that support each client's business goals and culture.</li><li>Advise clients on federal, state, and local employment laws, with particular expertise in Colorado.</li><li>Help growing organizations build and scale effective people practices.</li><li>Move comfortably between strategic advising and hands-on execution based on what each client needs.</li><li>Build strong, trusted relationships that make you an extension of the client's leadership team.</li><li>Support clients throughout the Denver metro area, from Broomfield to Castle Rock, as well as remotely support clients across the US.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li><strong>10+ years of progressive HR experience</strong>, including significant HR leadership experience.</li><li>Experience advising owners, executives, and senior business leaders on complex people matters.</li><li>Deep knowledge of employee relations, performance management, employment law, organizational development, and HR best practices.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Colorado employment law; multi-state experience is preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to balance business needs, employee experience, and compliance.</li><li>Experience coaching managers and leaders through difficult or sensitive employee situations.</li><li>Ability to quickly understand different businesses, cultures, personalities, and priorities.</li><li>Comfort shifting between high-level strategy, detailed research, and tactical execution.</li><li>Strong judgment and the confidence to provide clear recommendations—even when the answer isn't black and white.</li><li>A practical, flexible approach and the ability to meet clients where they are.</li><li>Experience in HR consulting, professional services, or a multi-client environment is highly valued.</li><li>SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or similar certification preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We Bring to the Table</strong></p><p>We are an <strong>ego-free, mission-driven team</strong> that genuinely cares about one another, our clients, and our mission to end suffering at work.</p><p><br></p><p>We believe great work and flexibility can coexist.
