Key Responsibilities

  • Review and Moderate Content: Watch videos, read comments, and analyze channels to identify content that violates YouTube's guidelines. You'll flag or remove inappropriate content, and escalate severe issues to senior moderators.
  • Provide Accurate and Timely Decisions: Make informed decisions when reviewing content, ensuring consistency and objectivity in your judgment.
  • Offer Constructive Feedback: Provide detailed feedback to content creators, pointing out specific issues, suggesting improvements, and explaining why certain content doesn't meet YouTube's standards.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Policies: Continuously update your knowledge of YouTube's policies and community guidelines to ensure you're making informed decisions.
  • Report Violations: Immediately report content that violates YouTube's policies, providing detailed descriptions and evidence to support your report.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other moderators, sharing insights and supporting each other in maintaining YouTube's quality standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Age: You must be at least 16 years old to apply for this role.
  • Reliable Internet Connection: A stable and fast internet connection is crucial for remote work, enabling you to stream videos, upload feedback, and communicate with our team efficiently.
