If you're proactive, growth-minded, and motivated by performance, this is an opportunity to grow within a luxury salon environment.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>Guest Experience & Hospitality<br><br></strong><ul><li>Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a confident first impression.</li><li>Guide guests through check-in and checkout while maintaining a calm, luxury environment.</li><li>Build genuine connections through conversation, personalization, and thoughtful service.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Revenue Support & Guest Retention<br><br></strong><ul><li>Reinforce stylist recommendations to help guests feel confident purchasing service recommendations, retail suggestions, and add-on treatments during checkout.</li><li>Confidently recommend retail products, memberships, gift cards, and future services when appropriate.</li><li>Proactively encourage prebooking and assist guests in securing their next visit.</li><li>Follow up with guests who choose to 'book later' to help maintain strong retention.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Scheduling & Operations<br><br></strong><ul><li>Manage appointment scheduling using salon software while optimizing stylist availability.</li><li>Monitor stylist availability and help fill openings through proactive outreach.</li><li>Assist in minimizing cancellations and maintaining strong booking flow.</li><li>Maintain an organized, professional front desk and retail area.</li><li>Salon upkeep, merchandising, and inventory presentation.</li><li>Use salon software efficiently for booking, payments, and guest notes.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Team Collaboration<br><br></strong><ul><li>Work closely with stylists and leadership to deliver a seamless luxury guest experience.</li><li>Communicate clearly about guest needs, opportunities, and service flow.</li><li>Contribute to a positive team culture focused on growth, accountability, and support.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What Success Looks Like In This Role<br><br></strong><ul><li>Guests feel cared for, confident, and excited about their next visit.</li><li>Retail, prebooking, and add-on opportunities are naturally supported - never forced.</li><li>The front desk operates as a proactive partner to stylists, not just an administrative position.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Friendly, confident, and professional communication style.</li><li>Strong interest in hospitality, beauty, or luxury service environments.</li><li>Comfortable making recommendations and guiding guest conversations.</li><li>Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Previous customer service experience required; salon or retail experience preferred.</li><li>Cosmetology students are encouraged to apply.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Compensation & Growth<br><br></strong><ul><li>Hourly pay starting at $17/hr.</li><li>This position includes a performance-based bonus structure tied to individual initiative and revenue-driving behaviors such as retail support, prebooking follow-up, and guest engagement.
