Duties

Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on slot machines and electronic gaming equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and soldering equipment to identify and resolve electrical and electronic issues.
Repair or replace faulty components including circuit boards, wiring, power supplies, and other electronic modules using hand tools and electrical soldering techniques.
Conduct testing of electronic systems using specialized equipment to verify repairs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting procedures for accountability and future reference.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and guests regarding machine status or repair timelines.

Experience

Proven experience as a service technician specializing in electronic or electrical equipment repair, preferably within a gaming or entertainment environment.
Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, electrical troubleshooting methods, and electronic system diagnostics.
Hands-on experience with computer hardware integration, network connectivity, and electronic testing tools such as oscilloscopes.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools including voltmeters, ohmmeters, soldering irons, and schematics interpretation for troubleshooting purposes.
Mechanical aptitude combined with electrical knowledge to perform maintenance tasks efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail; capable of engineering troubleshooting to resolve issues swiftly.
Customer service orientation with clear communication skills to assist team members or guests when needed.
