<em><strong>SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide.<br><br></strong></em><strong>Job Description Summary:<br><br></strong>The Senior Scheduler will develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules from preconstruction through execution phases of projects . the sr. scheduler will closely collaborate with other schedulers and stakeholders to coordinate work between PV, battery storage, high voltage, services business units. In addition, this position requires providing oversight to schedulers with less experience. Position requires travel to jobsites to gain understanding of means and methods, and build rapport.<br><br>This role is remote with periodic travel to job sites in the South Central and Midwest Regions. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.<br><br><strong>Job Description:<br><br></strong><ul><li>This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned<br><br></li></ul><strong>Position Responsibilities and Duties:<br><br></strong>Scheduler Lead Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li>Lead and mentor assigned schedulers, supporting their personal and career development.</li><li>Contribute to training curriculum development for company-wide schedule management.</li><li>Participate in company onboarding to align with project controls objectives.<br><br></li></ul>Project Scheduling & Analysis<br><br><ul><li>Develop and maintain realistic EPC project schedules using P6 software.</li><li>Analyze project documents (drawings, contracts) to form the basis of EPC schedules.</li><li>Perform quantity take-offs to establish accurate activity durations.</li><li>Consult with internal teams (engineering, procurement, project management, field) for feedback.</li><li>Seek feedback from external stakeholders (owners, consultants) to enhance schedule accuracy and buy-in.</li><li>Ensure schedules adhere to CPM best practices with sound logic and realistic durations.</li><li>Attend project meetings (weekly coordination, owner) to gather updates and address schedule issues.</li><li>Update schedules bi-monthly, incorporating actuals and monitoring critical path deviations.</li><li>Propose corrective actions to the project team based on schedule analysis.</li><li>Communicate schedule updates to the project teams, and the scheduling manager.</li><li>Perform "what-if" analysis for changing conditions, on integrated multiple schedules.</li><li>Lead internal and external meetings, analyzing all scopes for schedule mitigation, propose solutions.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive delay logs.</li><li>Maintain all relevant contract information, including LD exposure with custom P6 reports.</li><li>Monitor progress using company software (sunscreen) and confirm against schedule updates.</li><li>Maintain and communicate weekly regional project status report.<br><br></li></ul>Training & Data Management<br><br><ul><li>Visit job sites to build rapport and understand site-specific details.</li><li>Train other personnel in scheduling procedures.</li><li>Assist business development, owners in analyzing and improving project schedules.</li><li>Support the maintenance of the P6 database (project/activity codes, file management, comments, notebooks).</li><li>Assist with reporting efforts, ensuring core schedule structure and activity codes are maintained.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Minimum 5 years construction scheduling experience.</li><li>Prior Scheduling experience in an EPC environment is required.</li><li>High proficiency and experience using P6 Software required.</li><li>Strong ability to read and understand plans and specifications.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of construction methods and processes.</li><li>Solid understanding of construction-related Critical Path Method scheduling.</li><li>Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).</li><li>Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, and professional telephone manner.</li><li>Reliability, dependability and flexibility.</li><li>Ability to travel to jobsites.<br><br></li></ul>Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.<br><br><em><strong>SOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity Employer<br><br></strong></em><em>At SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
