aytm “Ask Your Target Market” is looking to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build the next generation of AI - powered outbound at a category- defining insights company.

About US

aytm delivers state-of-the-art insights automation technology and expert guidance that’s focused on providing answers for the customers of today, while evolving a platform that supports those curious about tomorrow. Advancing research with transparency and flexibility, aytm helps you connect to a community of people, optimize your products, positioning, and concepts, and get from idea to market faster. We have a world-class platform, top-tier customers, and a creative and energetic team.

We're entering our next phase of growth and investing in a modern, AI-powered outbound motion — and we're looking for a Sales Development Representative to help build it from the ground up. This isn't a script-and-dial role. It's an opportunity to be hands-on every day in shaping how AI and human effort work together to generate enterprise pipeline in the AI era.

You will report to our AVP, Growth Operations, and join the Growth Marketing team, working closely with Growth Operations leadership as we scale enterprise pipeline generation through next-gen, AI-powered outbound.

What You'll Own

AI-assisted outbound & prospecting Execute high-volume outbound prospecting — calls, email, and social — using AI-assisted tools to draft, personalize, and enrich outreach at scale, while keeping every touch genuinely human.

Intent-driven lead qualification Qualify inbound and outbound leads using intent and buying signals with our ICPs/personas, so you're prioritizing the right accounts at the right moment rather than just working volume.

Multi-channel sequencing and automation Run and continuously refine multi-channel cadences across email, phone, and LinkedIn using our sales engagement stack (Gong Engage and similar tools), testing where automation should do the work and where a human touch matters more.

Pipeline handoff, done right Book demos and pitch meetings with target prospects, and manage a clean handoff to Account Executives — with the context they need for a strong first call.

A feedback loop on what's working Keep Salesforce and other CRM/sales tools accurate and up to date, own your activity and quota goals, and feed learnings on messaging, sequences, and AI workflows back to the team as we build a better outbound motion together.

Who You Are

  • Excited about the intersection of AI and sales — you see AI-assisted tools as a lever to work smarter and reach more of the right people, faster, not as a shortcut around genuine engagement.
  • Comfortable in the trenches: you want to be hands-on with daily outbound execution — calls, emails, and social touches — not just strategy.
  • Curious about, or already familiar with, AI-assisted outbound, intent-driven qualification, and multi-channel sequencing and automation.
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and resilient, with the discipline to consistently hit activity and quota targets even when it's tough.
  • A strong communicator who can blend automation with authentic human engagement — your outreach never feels robotic.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, comfortable managing a high volume of leads and CRM data.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or a related customer-facing role — or clear, demonstrated initiative applying AI tools to solve problems, even without formal sales experience.
  • Bonus if you've used tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong Engage, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or UserGems — but we can teach the tools if you bring the mindset.

Why This Role

Ground-floor builder: Join at a pivotal moment as aytm reshapes its SDR function around AI-powered workflows, and help define what "next-gen outbound" looks like in practice.

AI-forward environment: Work daily with AI-assisted prospecting, intent data, and automation tools, with real exposure to how a modern GTM team blends automation and human connection.

Line of sight to leadership: Sit close to Growth Operations leadership, with visibility into how outbound strategy gets built and scaled.

Real impact: Every meeting you book fuels the pipeline for a profitable, scaling hybrid SaaS company recognized as a 2024 Inc 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Company and 2025 Inc Best Places to Work.

What We Offer

A work environment built around empathy, creativity, curiosity, organic growth and an abundance mindset. We're a fun and vibrant group of people, dedicated to putting in the hard work to make a platform we are proud of, serving the needs of our clients with empathy, and making aytm an incredible place to work. We were

Common Interview Questions And Answers

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
