About the RoleThis is a full-time remote position for someone with professional QA experience who enjoys digging into complex systems, reproducing difficult issues, and helping developers turn problems into clear, actionable tasks.We are not looking for someone who simply plays the game and reports that something is broken. We need someone who investigates why it broke, under what conditions, and how reliably it can be reproduced. What We're Looking For<ul><li>Professional experience in game QA or software QA</li><li>Ability to write clear, concise, and reproducible bug reports</li><li>Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking systems</li><li>Experience with Plastic SCM, Git, Perforce, SVN, or another version control system</li><li>Fluent written and spoken English</li><li>Experience working remotely with distributed teams</li></ul> A strong candidate should naturally investigate questions such as:<ul><li>Does the issue reproduce from a fresh save?</li><li>Does it reproduce from an existing save?</li><li>Does it happen in sandbox mode?</li><li>Is it present on another branch?</li><li>Does it reproduce on the latest main branch?</li><li>What is the smallest possible setup that still causes the problem?</li></ul> Bug InvestigationYou should be comfortable collecting everything developers need to investigate an issue:<ul><li>Clear reproduction steps</li><li>Save files</li><li>Screenshots and videos</li><li>Logs</li><li>Build and branch information</li><li>Hardware specifications when relevant</li></ul>You should understand reproducibility, regression risk, and how to isolate the conditions required for a bug to occur.
