Online Fitness Coach(Remote-1099 Contract)

CT3 Performance Coaching, LLC is contracting remote fitness coaches across the United States.

We build and deliver structured online coaching for busy professionals — founders, executives, physicians and sales leaders in their late twenties through fifties who want to get lean and stay healthy without rearranging their lives. Our method is structure over motivation and systems over intensity.

This is an independent contractor engagement, not employment. You run your own coaching practice. CT3 supplies the brand, the method, the programming library, the platform, the client agreements and the payment infrastructure. You deliver the coaching.

What the engagement involves

    • Build and maintain individualized training programs and nutrition guidance for your clients

    • Write and personally answer a check-in each week — every two weeks on our 12-month program. The written check-in is the product clients pay for.

    • Onboard your clients to the CT3 platform and keep each client record complete

    • Respond to client messages within one business day

    • Source your own clients if you choose to — this is where the economics favor you most

How you are paid

A share of what CT3 actually collects from each client, routed to your Stripe account at the time the client’s payment processes.

    • 60% of collected revenue for a client you brought in

    • 40% of collected revenue for a client CT3 sourced and assigned to you

    • 75% on the first billing period when one of your clients renews, then 60% thereafter

Our programs are $500/month for 12 weeks, $400/month for 6 months, and $300/month for 12 months. Total earnings depend entirely on how many clients you serve and how many you bring in yourself. CT3 makes no representation about what any coach will earn.

There is no fee to contract with us — no joining fee, no monthly fee, and no charge for the method, platform, programming library, client agreements or payment system.

What you need

    • A current personal training or nutrition coaching certification (NASM, ISSA, ACE, NSCA, Precision Nutrition or equivalent)

    • General liability insurance, with CT3 Performance Coaching, LLC named as an additional insured, and a certificate of insurance provided before you begin

    • A Stripe account you control, for direct payment routing

    • Genuine writing ability — our check-ins are written, personal, and are what clients are paying for

You do not need an LLC. You do not need professional liability (E&O) insurance, though we recommend it and will explain why before you sign.

Scope of practice

Coaches provide general fitness instruction and general nutrition education. Coaches do not diagnose or treat any condition, prescribe therapeutic diets, or advise on prescription compounds, peptides or hormones.

What this is not

No set hours. No required availability. No territory. No minimum client count. The engagement is non-exclusive — you may keep your own clients, advertise independently, and work with other companies. CT3 sets the standard the client receives; it does not direct how you meet it. This engagement confers no wage, salary, benefits or paid leave.

To apply

Send a short note with your certification, your coaching experience, and one example of a written check-in you would send a client who missed a week of training.

Common Interview Questions And Answers

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

4. WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR PHYSICAL WORKSPACE TO SUCCEED IN YOUR WORK?

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
