Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.<br><br>The Manager, Global Trade (GT) supports the implementation and sustainment of Global Trade tools within the Raytheon export compliance environment. The role focuses on deploying new capabilities, developing user resources, resolving tool issues, and supporting employees through process and system changes. This role will support compliance system enhancements under the RTX Consent Agreement and will provide ongoing support and continuous improvement of these systems.<br><br><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Support, maintain, and enhance Global Trade digital tools and systems, including learning their functionality, configuration, and interaction within the broader business environment. This may include updates to the existing compliance systems and/or new tool implementation. </li><li>Serve as a subject‑matter (SME) resource for Global Trade technologies by helping team members and cross‑functional partners understand tool capabilities, workflows, and best‑use practices. </li><li>Collaborate with functional stakeholders such as Digital Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, and others to ensure Global Trade tools remain aligned with business processes, regulatory changes, and operational requirements. </li><li>Monitor system performance, identify issues or inefficiencies, and coordinate improvements, enhancements, and troubleshooting with internal and external partners. </li><li>Develop and deliver training, job aids, and reference materials to drive adoption and effective use of Global Trade tools across the organization. </li><li>Identify opportunities to optimize trade operations through automation, digital enhancements, trade programs, and continuous process improvement. </li><li>Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed to support projects. <br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Will Learn<br><br></strong><ul><li>How Global Trade tools connect to compliance workflows and business systems. </li><li>How to turn regulatory requirements into practical system processes. </li><li>How to spot, document, and partner to resolve tool issues quickly. </li><li>How to drive user adoption through clear training and change support. </li><li>How evolving trade regulations and digital trends shape system capabilities. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications You Must Have<br><br></strong><ul><li>Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience</li><li>Experience managing processes related to regulatory and / or compliance requirements</li><li>Experience applying, enhancing and / or deploying digital technology or Global Trade tools to facilitate compliance<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications We Prefer<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience in system enhancements, integrations, or process‑automation initiatives</li><li>Strong cross‑functional teaming to identify system workflows, data requirements, and compliance impacts</li><li>Experience working with Global Trade compliance systems or digital trade compliance tools, such as SAP GTS, OCR, RGEMS, or similar platforms</li><li>Strong background in U.S. and international trade regulations, including import/export controls, customs requirements, and preferential trade programs (e.g. ITAR, EAR, Customs, etc.)</li><li>Ability to quickly learn new systems and translate functional knowledge into practical guidance for business users</li><li>Experience working in a global, fast‑paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities<br><br></li></ul><strong>Learn More & Apply Now<br><br></strong>Please ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).<br><br><em><strong>As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.<br><br></strong></em>The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.<br><br>Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.<br><br>Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.<br><br>This role is a U.S.-based role.
