This is a warehouse associate position that acts as a material handler, inventory associate, and forklift operator. Other duties include:<br><br><ul><li>Loading and unloading freight such as lumber and/or building supplies.</li><li>Processing and restocking returns.</li><li>Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and caring for equipment.</li><li>Shrink control.</li><li>Forklift training, certification, and operation.</li><li>Communicating delays or discrepancies to management.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Pull outgoing orders </li><li>Put up returns </li><li>Care for/maintain equipment</li><li>Maintain area of responsibility </li><li>Shrink control</li><li>Forklift Operation</li><li>Keeps management aware of any delays or discrepancies<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one</li><li>Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds</li><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED)<br><br></li></ul><em>84 Lumber Company is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
