Digital Marketing Specialist (Display Ads)

Other Jobs To Apply

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of proven success leading all aspects of large-scale digital ad campaigns (GDN, DV360, or MSAN preferred) against specific goals. We are looking for a strong foundation and high growth potential, not a long tenure running the same channel
  • ,
  • Platform Familiarity: Hands-on experience with display ad platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Microsoft Ads) and/or feed-based marketing channels; search experience (Google or Microsoft) is a strong adjacent fit. Fluency in the fundamentals (CPC, CPM, ROAS) expected
  • ,
  • Ownership Mentality: You will act as the "CEO" of the Display program, owning it end to end and balancing long-term vision with short-term optimizations. Strong critical thinking paired with a bias toward action to navigate a constantly evolving landscape
  • ,
  • Extreme Attention to Detail: You take pride in precision and double-checking your work, because a small error can have an outsized impact on a campaign or channel
  • ,
  • Strong Analytical Drive: Comfort getting into the data yourself, including entry-level SQL, sophisticated attribution models (multi-touch, LTV, frequency), and major analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau). Fluency with AI tools (e.g. Claude, Cursor) to accelerate analysis and code, with the judgment to QA the output
  • ,
  • Technical & Platform Depth: Experience with product catalogs of 1M+ SKUs and identifying high-impact feed optimizations, plus marketing technology platforms such as MMPs (e.g. AppsFlyer, Branch) and CDPs (e.g. Segment, LiveRamp)
  • ,
  • Collaborative Communicator: Ability to communicate operational realities, timelines, and technical requirements to cross-functional partners clearly and proactively, while juggling multiple requests to hit campaign launch deadlines
  • ,
  • Scrappy & Curious: A proactive, fast learner who isn't afraid to click around a new platform or dig into documentation to solve a problem. Process-driven and constantly looking to minimize waste and address inefficiencies

What the job involves

  • Etsy's mission sets us apart, keeping commerce human and building something that supports real human sellers. We pair that mission with a high-ownership, high-velocity culture. On the Demand Generation team, you'll work closely with product, engineering, data, and finance to shape the vision and roadmap for Etsy's display ads program
  • ,
  • Display is a high-visibility channel: if you deliver at a high level here, your impact shows up directly in Etsy's growth. We're looking for the right person to grow fast alongside the program
  • ,
  • Campaign Build & Execution: Build, launch, and QA campaigns, including creative tracking, catalog updates, audience implementation, and pixel/tag checks
  • ,
  • Feed & Catalog Management: Oversee and optimize large-scale product feeds and their DPA ad campaigns through automated ad solutions
  • ,
  • Bid & Budget Optimization: Implement bid and budget optimizations to maximize performance within a fixed efficiency constraint
  • ,
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor real-time performance dashboards, flag anomalies, log fixes with the broader team, and share platform-level reporting summaries
  • ,
  • Platform Hygiene: Maintain platform hygiene through UTMs, naming conventions, and block-lists, documenting every change for auditability
  • ,
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to broader team improvements by logging lessons learned and proposing ways to increase efficiency and scalability
  • ,
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional partners across product and engineering, data analytics, and strategic finance to shape the vision and roadmap for Etsy's display ads program
  • ,
  • Of course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require! You should assume that your role will encompass other tasks, too, and that your job duties and responsibilities may change from time to time at Etsy's discretion, or otherwise applicable with local law
