<strong>Job Number: R0251349<br><br></strong>Cybersecurity Architect<br><br><strong>The Opportunity:<br><br></strong>As a Cybersecurity Architect on our team, you’ll work with Booz Allen colleagues and the military to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of Space Sensing capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Your customer will trust you to not only test, analyze, evaluate, validate, and verify these systems, but also identify areas requiring urgent mitigation upfront and early to develop this system with advanced technology solutions. You’ll lead the sustainment, optimization, security, and lifecycle management of complex, mission-critical networks supporting the government mission systems. You’ll serve as the primary technical authority for ensuring high availability, secure data transport, and resilient communication paths across the sustainment portfolio. Join our team and create the future of Space Sensing in the Space Force.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Work On:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead assessments of the current security posture and recommend mitigation strategies across the portfolio.</li><li>Partner with cyber personnel to track and remediate vulnerabilities.</li><li>Serve as the central security authority to drive assessment findings into actionable operational and acquisition channels.</li><li>Advise Chief Engineers to ensure critical security modifications and architectural upgrades are embedded in strategic roadmaps with clear deployment pathways.</li><li>Ensure vital cybersecurity requirements are accurately prioritized and captured in the government funding requests.</li><li>Serve as the senior architectural authority for government customer.<br><br><br></li></ul>Join us. The world can’t wait.<br><br><strong>You Have:<br><br></strong><ul><li>7+ years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer supporting space-related Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, and hardware systems, or defensive cyber operations </li><li>Experience providing input to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and related documentation </li><li>Experience developing, integrating, and performing technical analysis of cybersecurity architectures </li><li>Experience developing threat scenarios to support Cyber Tabletop (CTT) exercises or executing Cyber Risk Assessments </li><li>Experience designing or implementing security solutions for interconnected environments such as traditional LAN/WAN or cloud</li><li>Experience ensuring cybersecurity, computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies are integrated into system and program architectures </li><li>Ability to brief senior leaders, translate technical requirements to non-technical audiences, and provide direct feedback to cybersecurity engineers or systems engineers on cyber architectures </li><li>Top Secret clearance</li><li>Bachelor’s degree </li><li>DoD 8140 Intermediate Certification such as Security+, GSEC, or CSSLP Certification<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Nice If You Have:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience with space-based remote sensing systems or ground satellite operations centers </li><li>Experience developing system security Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and defining baseline system security requirements </li><li>Experience with the Strategic Missile Warning architecture, its programs, and the organizations supporting the mission </li><li>Experience with ground antenna, networking, distributed systems, or data orchestration</li><li>Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>TS/SCI clearance </li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related technical field preferred; Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related technical field a plus</li><li>DoD 8140 Advanced Certification such as CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, GDSA, or CCNP Certification<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Clearance:<br><br></strong>Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.<br><br><strong>Compensation<br><br></strong>At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
