Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

We are seeking an experienced BSA/AML Analyst for a full-time contract engagement (40 hours/week, remote). This role combines enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews for high-risk customer segments — including marijuana related businesses (MRBs), cash-intensive businesses, and other elevated-risk relationships — with review and disposition of transaction monitoring alerts. This is a hands-on, production role for someone who can step in and work independently from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct EDD reviews for high-risk customers, with a primary focus on MRBs, cash-intensive businesses, and other elevated-risk segments
  • Analyze customer profiles, ownership structures, source of funds/wealth, and transaction activity to assess ongoing risk
  • Evaluate account activity against expected activity/business type to identify inconsistencies or red flags
  • Document EDD findings in clear, well-supported narratives suitable for audit and examiner review
  • Recommend risk rating adjustments, account restrictions, or SAR referrals based on EDD findings
  • Support periodic and trigger-based EDD refreshes in line with the institution's risk assessment schedule
  • Review and disposition transaction monitoring alerts in a timely, well-documented manner
  • Draft clear alert narratives that support audit and examiner review
  • Identify trends or patterns across high-risk customer segments and alert activity that may indicate emerging risk

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of BSA/AML experience within a bank or financial institution (bank experience required)
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience conducting EDD reviews for high-risk customers
  • Direct experience with MRBs, cash-intensive businesses, and similar elevated-risk customer types
  • Proven experience reviewing and dispositioning transaction monitoring alerts
  • Strong understanding of BSA/AML regulations, red flags, and typologies specific to high-risk segments
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, examiner-ready narratives
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • CAMS, CAFP, or other relevant industry certification
  • Experience with core banking or case management systems (e.g., Verafin, FCRM, Abrigo)
  • Prior experience supporting community banks
  • Experience with MRB-specific guidance (e.g., FinCEN's 2014 marijuana banking guidance)

Position Details

  • Type: Contract, full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Location: Remote

Direct applicants only — no agencies or staffing firms, please.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Application Question(s):

  • How many total years of BSA/AML experience do you have, and how many of those were within a bank or financial institution?
  • Describe your hands-on experience conducting EDD reviews for MRBs (marijuana-related businesses) specifically. How many MRB relationships have you personally reviewed, and in what capacity?
  • What other high-risk or cash-intensive business types have you conducted EDD on (e.g., check cashers, money service businesses, precious metals dealers)?
  • What alert/case management systems have you used (e.g., Verafin, Actimize, Abrigo, FCRM)?
  • On average, how many alerts did you disposition per day/week in your most recent role?
  • Are you available to start within 1-2 weeks, and can you commit to 40 hours/week for the duration of the contract?
