Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Remote — must be based in New England

Compensation: $25 – $30/hour + 5–10% year-end discretionary bonus + benefits

Total Earning Potential: ~$55,000 – $68,000

About the Administrative Assistant Role

A national event and hospitality services company is hiring a remote Administrative Assistant to support our New England operations. Our mission is to lift up small local businesses and give them bigger, better opportunities — and the Administrative Assistant is the person who makes that possible behind the scenes. You'll own vendor paperwork, compliance documents, contracts, and the systems that keep our events running smoothly.

As Administrative Assistant, you'll work directly with the Regional Director of Operations and support our Operations Managers across the region. This is a detail-driven, organized, proactive Administrative Assistant role for someone who takes pride in clean files, accurate documents, and getting things right the first time.

We're a hardworking team of real people who care a lot about each other and the small businesses we serve. We want an Administrative Assistant who fits that vibe and wants to grow with us.

What You Get as Administrative Assistant

  • $25 – $30/hour base pay (Experience-based) — $52,000 – $62,400 base annualized
  • 5–10% year-end discretionary bonus
  • Total earning potential: ~$55,000 – $68,000
  • Fully remote — work from your home office anywhere in New England
  • $1,200/year cell phone & tech stipend ($100/month, paid day one)
  • $250 office reimbursement (after 90-day introductory period)
  • Health insurance (Anthem Blue Cross) — company covers 50% of the Bronze Plan after 90 days
  • 401(k) with automatic 3% employee contribution (adjustable, Roth option available)
  • Paid Time Off that grows with tenure:
  • 2 weeks PTO in year one (after 90-day probation)
  • 2.5 weeks in year two
  • 3 weeks in year three+

What You'll Own as Administrative Assistant

  • Collect and organize all vendor paperwork (city permits, business licenses, sellers permits, COIs)
  • Organize SharePoint folders with clean labeling and file structure
  • Compose and distribute customer/event contracts, agreements, and proposals
  • Create documents and graphics for accounts (maps, diagrams, vendor presentations)
  • Support invoicing and payment procedures
  • Track expiring documents and proactively chase updated paperwork from vendors
  • Audit vendor files to ensure regional compliance
  • Research city and county permit requirements across the markets we serve
  • Provide general admin support to the Operations Managers as needed

  • Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency
  • Self-starter who works efficiently and independently in a remote environment
  • Comfortable multitasking and staying composed when something unexpected pops up
  • Able to follow direction and own delegated tasks end-to-end
